Introducing our team
Our real strength, of course, is our wonderful team – our day brighteners are the shining stars of Viva Assist.
Generally our day brighteners come personally recommended and are thoroughly DBS and reference checked before they offer any companionship. As you’d expect they’re trustworthy, reliable and professional. But most importantly, they’re fun, caring, kind and genuinely passionate about the work they do.
As the team are so close, we asked them to write each others bios as a little introduction, so maybe we should let them speak for themselves – or, rather, for each other!
Liz - Chief Organiser
Liz is a ‘salt of the earth’ type character who thrives on helping others. She is definitely a people person and will never fail to bring a smile to your face. She has a wonderful combination of kindness and humour that is ideally suited to her role within Viva Assist. With Liz around your day will just get a whole lot brighter, a true diamond!
Rosey - Day Brightener
Rosey’s name ideally suits her personality – glowing, encouraging and reassuring. Her parents were spot on in their name choice! Rosey has a brightness about her but also an aura of calm and reassurance which is invaluable to our clients. She is practical and efficient but what shines through even more is her gentle kindness.
Maddie - Day Brightener
Maddie always goes above and beyond for Viva Assist, building great relationships with both clients and their family members. She understands the importance of keeping families well informed and is extremely organised and reliable in her work. She is also great fun to have around and has a wonderfully kind and caring nature that clients really appreciate.
Ang - Chief Paper Pusher
Ang is professional, dedicated, and has a very caring nature. Her sense of fun is contagious and she’s a pleasure to be around. She takes meticulous care of the administrative detail behind the scenes. A true gem.
Caroline - Day Brightener
With her sunny outlook on life and sociable nature, Caroline is a firm favourite with our clients who love having visits from someone who feels more like a friend. Caring and positive, her warmth and sense of fun make her perfectly suited to Viva Assist and our mission to help our clients keep enjoying their independent life.
Tony - Day Brightener
Tony has brought some new interests to the day brightener team – he’s a big fan of football and loves the great outdoors so is perfect for any clients who share these passions. A great listener, his patient and caring nature has made him very popular with clients who appreciate his enthusiasm and willingness to help them.
Janet - Day Brightener
Janet brings her caring nature and great organisational skills to the team, always ensuring clients are well taken care of. Thoughtful and considerate, she’s also very creative so a popular choice for clients wanting a day brightener to help them rediscover old hobbies or explore new ones!
Jean - Day Brightener
With her patient nature and willingness to go that extra mile, Jean is always a favourite choice with clients. When she’s not brightening days, she loves being a Grandmother and brings those wonderful qualities to her work – from her kindness to her great listening skills, she’s a real asset to our team.
Beth - Day Brightener
Beth is a very patient person and has a very calming influence on people. She is a good listener and is able to analyse different situations and handle them with diplomacy and care. She is an asset to our team.

Susan - Day Brightener
Susan is a lovely lady, very kind and considerate and will go the extra mile for clients. She has a great sense of humour and loves having fun on visits out.
Jo - Day Brightener
Jo is a confident and very caring lady. She is chatty and outgoing and also has a very calming influence on people and is a good listener. She is well organised, prompt and reliable which makes her an asset to our very special team.
Jude - Day Brightener
Jude is a patient person, with good listening skills and has a very calming influence when dealing with our clients. She responds well to any situation she comes across, with patience and understanding.
Nicola - Day Brightener
Nicola is a lovely, caring lady. She is lively and chatty and gets on with people very well. She is considerate and a good listener and is very patient. She deals with situations, practically and calmly and is an asset to Viva Assist.
Christine - Day Brightener
Chris is a really proactive member of the team and is always willing to help out and support both Clients and team members.
She is a very caring lady and is excellent at building relationships and developing rapport.
Suzy - Day Brightener
Suzy has a vibrant personality and has a fabulous sense of humour. She deals with any situation with compassion, common sense and patience. She is a well respected member of the Assist team.
Rose - Day Brightener
Rose has a very compassionate nature and absolutely loves her role as a Day Brightener. She definitely goes the extra mile for all her clients and builds excellent relationships with them all.
Rachel - Day Brightener
Rachel is thoughtful and caring and has established excellent working relationships with both clients and family members.
Fiona - Day Brightener
Fi is a very caring and compassionate member of the team and is always willing to help and provide support where she can.
Fi has a keen sense of humour and certainly brightens up people’s days!
